Photojournalism.
Something I like to do, the experience is different and the results turn out to be lovely.
Full of memories and melancholy.

The Hen that Laid the Golden Eggs

It all starts with the painting of the eggs.
On our way to the studio.

Getting her ready.

Smile for the camera!

We did this for U.S. Poultry Egg Association.
It was so fun to do this shot! I had never had a hen in my arms, it is quite a revolution! She sat on my chest, tried to fly away, made funny noises, hahaha :D I love hens now!

Faith or Fanatism?

fanatism - excessive intolerance of opposing views
faith - confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing.

Take a look at Easter celebrations in Mexico City and be the judge.

Just felt like leaving a note on this link.
Cheers!

Behind - Western Symphony BdM

Today we were at Corral Western Club.
We had the photo shoot for this season "Western Symphony" presented by Ballet de Monterrey.
So, here are a few shots of what happened behind the scenes.
Please keep in mind that we have a lot of fun and today we had time to make stupid shots but that did not stop us from actually working.

This is the right side of the stage.

This is the left side. Kitty was sitting in order to keep Anne and Diego from falling. Anne has white underwear on. Haha!

Before the first on-stage shot.

Last shot, last location.

Behind Paperbag Heads 2

Another day of work....I love my job!
I hate smokers, well not the people but how they smell afterwards. However, we had to do this, another part of the society we live in:

And of course, the kiss!
I got my lips sooo red that I couldn't believe my eyes.
My mouth felt dry aftwerwards. I must say, this lipstick really works! It did not come off as so it works as well as they advertise it.

Behind Paperbag Heads

Here are a few shots of the paper bags that we used.
It was a fun and different experience to do this collection.
I documented the whole process:

When we got to "Mercado de Abastos" and bought the paper bags.

Mercado de Abastos

Trying out the bags we bought:

Leaving "Mercado de Abastos". The sky looked incredible yesterday.

After the first 11 shots.

Orden Franciscana Seglar

In order to begin celebrating the 800th Anniversary of the Orden Franciscana Seglar, we began working in Nuevo León.

Juan Carlos Placencia was our first model for this collection.

His expressions are trully natural and I must say that he was very interesting to talk to. He has a lot to say and everything that he does is very helpful to society, specially young people.
